This is an vocal sighting. I didn't REALLY see it, but I finally "tuned in" to the outdoors at the right time!!
I was at a family reunion in Iowa, and they all flew around in the fields! They were as thick as bats in the sky! I'm using my "birders estimate" skills here to determine how many there were. I know there were a little more than 15, so I'll put it as 17
The Chestnut-sided that was being chased by the Black-and-white. That was funny!

At Riverlands. A fantastic birding hotspot. I'm going back there soon hopefully! This guy was chasing around a Chestnut-sided. Funny little creatures.
Obviously this one was high in a tree. I caught a glimpse of his tail, and then kept following him when he was flying!
This bird was singing around a bunch of trees, and I didn't see him until I had just about given up!
Large male foraging on the ground. This is one of the birds that I saw on my census of the bird sanctuary
Another male (I got lucky!). He was perched really high in a tree. Such a gorgeous bird.
Another one of my night walks. I was walking through the woods, and I heard one off in the distance. I quickly walked over to it, and it stayed perfectly still for me to admire! One beautiful specimen!
These were verbal sightings. I did catch a glimps at one of them though! :)
Flew overhead while I was flying a Harris Hawk. Beautiful bird, and amazing aerobatics!
Circling over the bird sanctuary looking for food....Kinda creepy to see so many of them circling over your head....
One of the largest flocks I've ever seen! I had to do the "birders estimate" on them, because there were to many to sit and count!
Two of them walking around on the floor of the forest.
Yes, I know this is a Sharpie. It was flying right over me, and at first I thought It was a Blue jay, but then figured out it was hawk. Sharpies were the ones I thought of.
In a grove of trees behind a ballpark in Southaven, Mississippi. Outstanding birds!
I heard them first, and then I followed them through the woods. Amazing birds!
9 of them flying around my house. They'd go WAY up, and then circle around and come back down. Gorgeous birds!!
Flying around the pond. It ticks me off that I can't get good pictures of these "EXTREMELY RARE" birds! The Warblers move to quickly!

At first I thought it was a Dark-eyed Junco, but then I looked more closely.
Two of them sliding down a tree branch by the pond.
flying through the woods by my house. I was incredibly excited to see them!!
