Notes Three baby Cardinal fledglings in and around the holly tree outside the window by the kitchen table.

Cute Overload! Our Cardinal nestlings have flown. They're so cute, about the size of a fat Sparrow. They're mostly brown, with a crest on the head, and a little bit of red in the tail feathers. As I was watching one sitting on a branch, the Daddy Cardinal flew in, perched beside him and stuffed a bug in his beak!
