Notes -backyard; ground foraging; central breast spot with rusty crown, gray cheeks, white wing bars and grey eyebrow.
Weather 5c; fog and overcast.

-most migrate through Alberta in March and April to breed in the Arctic ; their migration is considered a Spring indicator and is a sign that Willow leaves are emerging, Fisher/Acorn,"Birds of Alberta", Lone Pine; Tree Sparrows are not "Tree" Sparrows and instead nest on the ground or in bushes!

-came back this evening, foraging on the ground and did some bush hopping; confirmed that the upper mandible was dark and the lower was light.
