| Notes | -just 1 in the backyard, but many throughout the neighborhood; males seem to spread out and sing their territorial songs in their own little areas; it's difficult to get an accurate count without trespassing on private property! Suspect that the local number is about the same as the highest counts that occured in the coldest weather (about 15). | |
