-noticed that on March 5, 2008 they plan to flood the Colorado River for 3 days! Hope you guys are out of there. Temp in Edmonton went from 4C to -21C overnight! Did you see any other birds?

I had no idea they were planning to flood the Colorado River, although that would have been a sight to see - from the TOP of the Grand Canyon! We're home now though, so I guess we'll miss it. :o) We did see some other birds, including - I think! - a Loggerhead Shrike.
